Caroline was nominated in the same category in 2020 and earned semi-finalist nominations in 2018 and 2019.\u00a0 in 2018, Caroline\u2019s restaurant Annette was a semi-finalist in the \u201cBest New Restaurant\u201d category.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2019, Caroline was named a Food and Wine magazine Best New Chef. in 2017, Annette was named one of the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bonappetit.com\/city-guides\/venue\/annette\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">50 best new restaurants in the country<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by Bon App\u00e9tit magazine and was also was Eater Denver&#8217;s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/denver.eater.com\/2017\/12\/18\/16789134\/eater-denver-2017-best-restaurant-of-the-year-annette\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">restaurant of the year<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0Annette has been on 5280 Magazine\u2019s list of Denver\u2019s 25 best restaurants each year since it opened.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Caroline is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. After school, she worked for two years at The Spotted Pig\u00a0in New York City, a pioneering gastropub run by famed British chef April Bloomfield.
