After working in acclaimed Austin spots like Launderette, La Condesa, and Uchiko, N\u00fa\u00f1ez and Sam Hellman-Mass opened Suerte in 2018 to create their own genre of Mexican cooking while amplifying the beauty of N\u00fa\u00f1ez\u2019s home country. He followed that up in 2022 by opening Este, which celebrates fresh seafood, coastal Mexican cuisine, and charcoal cooking.
