Justin started his career in the kitchen, working at Soma Sushi before he realized he liked talking to people too much. After stints at notable Houston cocktail bars like Julep, Justin became the first general manager of Johnny\u2019s Gold Brick in 2017 and under his leadership, and then the leadership of the managers and bartenders who followed him, Johnny\u2019s grew into the beloved neighborhood craft cocktail bar that you all know and love. Since its inception, Johnny\u2019s has become an integral part of the heights with a rotating menu of monthly original cocktails, fun events and epic Christmas Pop-Up. Johnny\u2019s has been nominated for multiple awards including Best Bar in Houston from Culturemap, Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards, and winning Bar Fight Club. We used to have a cat named Batman, but he died.
