As the pandemic was nearing an end, they both saw what they felt was a hole in the fancy sandwich and craft cocktail market, so the two joined forces with chef Chris Roy to create Winnie\u2019s. Mason, a Vermont native, and Laborde, a Louisianian, are active in their communities.
