Marie La France is one of the founders of Louie Louie, the award-winning THC Seltzer made in New Orleans. Before founding a beverage brand, Marie began her career in the service industry as a bartender in New Orleans. Hurricane Katrina pushed her to relocate to New York City, where she built a career at the forefront of digital media. Over 13 years she worked with legacy titles Interview, Rolling Stone and Vogue, as their advertising operations shifted from print to web-based to social to video and beyond, eventually becoming the Director of Advertising for Vogue. She returned to New Orleans in 2019 as the Vice President of Strategy for Dash Social, an innovative social media analytics software that predicts trends and optimizes social media marketing for the world’s biggest beauty, fashion and CPG companies. She has worked on several AI-related projects, particularly focused on visuals and predictive technology. She is a technology optimist and a native plant enthusiast, and does not believe these qualities are mutually exclusive.
