Chef Aaron Bludorn recently celebrated the four-year anniversary of his eponymous restaurant Bludorn, a James Beard semifinalist in 2024 for Outstanding Hospitality. Aaron made his way to Texas after working for five years as Executive Chef for the beloved Café Boulud in New York City where he met his now wife Victoria Pappas Bludorn. In 2017, Aaron was recognized by Star Chefs as New York City’s Rising Star Community Chef. Aaron’s experience and vision worked to crescendo the creation of Bludorn where he injects his flair into French-inspired Gulf Coast cuisine showcasing the region’s bounty using local ingredients and purveyors. In the fall of 2022, Aaron opened his second restaurant, Navy Blue, a modern American seafood concept that pays homage to the Texas Gulf Coast. Since launching, Navy Blue has been recognized as the #1 best new restaurant in Texas in 德克萨斯月刊 and the #3 best new restaurant in the country by 罗博报告. Bludorn opened his third restaurant in the spring of 2024, Bar Bludorn, an upscale tavern with a modern American bistro menu.
