Benjy Mason and Graham Laborde have been friends and colleagues for the last decade. As the pandemic was nearing an end, they both saw what they felt was a hole in the fancy sandwich and craft cocktail market, so the two joined forces with chef Chris Roy to create Winnie’s. Mason, a Vermont native, and Laborde, a Louisianian, are active in their communities. For Winnie’s first birthday they auctioned off a poorly restored 1970-ish dirt bike with all proceeds benefiting Southern Smoke Foundation.
