Camaraderie Collab Featuring Chef Thomas Bille of Belly of the Beast

Two of Houston’s most celebrated culinary voices, Chef Thomas Bille of Belly of the Beast and Chef Shawn Gawle of Camaraderie, are coming together at Gawle’s Heights restaurant for a one-night, family-style Mediterranean dinner rooted in craft, culture, and community.

Chef Thomas Bille of Belly of the Best, named Best Chef: Texas in the 2025 James Beard Awards, is known for his thoughtful, globally inspired cooking. Chef Shawn Gawle is the force behind Camaraderie, the less-than-one-year-old restaurant rising in acclaim for its refined yet approachable execution. Together, Bille and Gawle will showcase Mediterranean flavors through a family-style format that reflects their shared values: generosity at the table, reverence for tradition, and a commitment to ensuring the hospitality industry is meaningful and memorable for all.

Proceeds will benefit Southern Smoke Foundation, which provides emergency relief and mental health support to food and beverage workers nationwide.

Tickets are $125 per person with the option to add wine pairings for $50, all exclusive of tax and gratuity. They are transferable but non-refundable.
