Anthony Guerra is the pizza-loving obsessive behind Oakwood Pizza Box, located in Raleigh, NC. Opening in 2017, Pizza Box has become Raleigh’s go-to spot for New York-style pizza. He took his talents to Charleston, SC to open Tutti Pizza with the James Beard nominated crew from Graft. He also opened Saint Pierre Wine Bar—named after his un-saintly golden retriever, Pierre, who believes every dinner should end with a treat or two. A man who has three restaurants but still eats standing up over a prep table, Anthony wouldn’t have it any other way. Off the clock, he’s a husband, dad of three, and reluctant Monopoly banker — all managed with the same attention to detail he brings to his restaurants.
