WHERE WILL I BE COOKING:

Meet Lawrence Smith, the guy who traded football for tackling flavors. Born and raised in Painesville, Ohio, Lawrence’s journey from the Colts’ preseason to Chef is like a wild foodie adventure. After narrowly missing the spotlight on the food truck race, he turned his setback into a recipe for success. From culinary school to working with kitchen rockstars, Lawrence’s kitchen escapades are as lively as his dishes. Chef LT (that’s short for Lawrence Smith III) kicked off Chilte as a farmers market stand, upgraded to a food truck, and then a brick-and-mortar in just two years! Known for his off the cuff cooking LT aims to keep pushing the culinary industry in all aspects from workplace culture to experimental plates. He has proved that sometimes, the best recipes are a mix of passion, determination, and a dash of chiltepin!
