Update on Our Hurricane Response

Our small and mighty team is working through more than 2,000 applications for both Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The processing time for applications may range from 6 to 8 weeks, depending on the date of your application—cases are processed in the order in which they were received. You must apply online for assistance.

If you applied for assistance unrelated to a disaster, we are working as quickly as possible to process your case. Please reach out to your case manager directly or casemanagement@southersmoke.org for any updates. We appreciate your patience during this challenging time. We are committed to serving you as soon as possible and look forward to the opportunity to assist you.

We are so grateful for the outpouring of support, and thanks to generous donors, our first round of Hurricane Helene funding is going out this week!

Southern Smoke Festival 2024, presented by Alaska Seafood, raised $1.5 million for the food and beverage community. We will be back in Fall 2025 for more great food, drinks and music to take care of our own. Thank you to everyone who cooked, poured, and attended. We couldn’t do what we do without you.

Beyond the Hospitality Dinner – SOLD OUT

We have teamed up with Euphoria to bring SSF founder Chris Shepherd to Greenville to collaborate with Chef Michael Kramer of JIANNA for an unforgettable evening.

Guests will enjoy a carefully crafted menu while making a meaningful impact on the lives of the hard-working individuals who bring flavor and joy to our dining experiences. The talented lineup will share stories of their journeys in the hospitality industry, emphasizing how food and wine serve as the threads that weave communities together and how important it is to support our hospitality community. As you create memorable connections & experiences, your glass will be filled with perfectly paired wines from our local urban winery, Carter Family Wines.

$35 from every ticket purchased will directly support the hospitality industry through the Southern Smoke Foundation. We thank you for your generosity.
