Southern Smoke Festival, presented by Alaska Seafood, is back on October 5, 2024! We’re bringing out the big stars for our annual park party fundraiser. More than 70 incredible food and beverage pros from across the country will join the best wine, spirit, and beer producers and outstanding live music at Discovery Green in the heart of Downtown Houston.

Proceeds will benefit Southern Smoke Foundation, which has distributed more than $12.7 million to F+B workers nationwide and more than 5,700 no cost counseling sessions.

Join Southern Smoke Foundation, industry experts, and our University of Houston mental health partner for an industry roundtable discussion on the state of the industry and resources available to create a healthier workplace.

Panelists include Chris Shepherd and Cat Bill, Southern Smoke Foundation; Dr. Julia Babcock, University of Houston Professor of Psychology; Cherif Mbodji, Bludorn; Erin Smith, Feges BBQ; Leonard Botello IV, Truth BBQ; and moderated by Brittany Britto Garley of Eater Houston.

Snacks will be provided by The Lymbar and Craft Pita with drinks by Carabuena Tequila, Tito’s Vodka, Illy, S. Pellegrino/AcquaPanna, and our wine partners. Special thanks to Houston Hospitality Alliance and OpenTable.
