We are so grateful for the outpouring of support, and thanks to generous donors, to date we have granted $680,800 to 487 F+B workers affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton with 2,500 more being processed.

WHERE WILL I BE COOKING:

A chef and pitmaster from Austin, Texas, Evan LeRoy spent time working at spots like New York’s Hill Country Barbecue and Austin’s Freedmen’s Bar, and traveling to countries like Australia, China, and Russia, to build his culinary education. In 2017, he opened his LeRoy and Lewis barbecue trailer with partners Lindsey LeRoy, and Sawyer and Nathan Lewis, garnering much praise including a No. 5 ranking in the 2021 edition of Texas Monthly’s regarded Top 50 BBQ Joints list. Known for his unique takes on Texas barbecue, LeRoy innovates in more ways than one, building the truck’s offset pit and butchering whole animals specifically for smoking. He and his partners are set to open the first brick-and-mortar LeRoy and Lewis Barbecue location in 2023 in Austin.
